P.J. Spillings were contracted to breath new life into the Start-rite shoes retail space, bringing it up-to-date and giving it a modern look.
Speed was of the essence with this project, to make sure that the office was closed for as little time as possible, so a project plan was developed for an 8-week delivery.
Work started with internal demolition, to open up the building and create a light and spacious environment. New ceilings and partitions were put in place, along with the electrical and mechanical work and plastering.
The team then moved on to the finishing details. These included internal decorations and ironmongery, and fitting a glass screen and privacy film – to create private areas within the open plan design.
A stunning meeting room was finished in all white with accent furnishings, with white shelves to make the products really stand out. Pendant lights and an LCD screen were installed. The result was a bright and welcoming modern retail space, delivered on time and on budget.
