Posted on: July 20th, 2015

Reconstruction of Belle Coachworks was completed by P J Spillings following fire damage to their workshop and offices back in 2014.

The industrial unit is approx 40m long x 20m wide with 5.8m eaves, featuring a steel and timber mezzanine floor above for offices and process area.

The new unit was constructed with a portal steel framework and masonry solid wall at low level. The upper external walls were finished with composite cladding supported off cladding rails, spanning from principle steelwork.

Construction works included electrical, mechanical, steel, cladding, decorations, flooring, doors, windows and fire protection.

Bell Coachworks have been able to return to the newly renovated building which will be used for vehicle maintenance and refurbishments.
